B.E.T BENEFITS
NAM BALDWIN

Nam's goal in life is to "Make a difference - a BIG difference!" A difference to the way in which people live and to their quality of life, by teaching them more about themselves and what they are capable of. He strives in helping others achieve and realise their true potential and finds it rewarding to be a part of that mix. Having this in mind Nam has been driven to explore many different forms of training and personal development aspects so that he can train others with the experience of knowing what works for some will differ for others.
The Breath Enhancement Training (B.E.T) course came about through combining bits and pieces of atleast 7 of the different disciplines in his and his partner Devon's life being: -
- martial arts
- free diving
- scuba diving
- personal training
- athletics,
- xi gong and
- kinesiology
Nam has been actively involved in these disciplines since the age of 15. Subsequent studies and development of training methods have led to the B.E.T program.
Nam is always full of enthusiasm for life and the health and balance of his body and mind and believes that it is the basic things in life that are the most important.
"When an athlete is in training, so many fall into the trap of over-training". Breath Enhancement Training allows you to pin point the most intricate areas of correct training methods to allow a constant improvement of both physical and mental success. In this program, recovery techniques are emphasised as much as the training techniques themselves.

WHAT DOES NAM LOVE MOST ABOUT B.E.T?
"Apart from the fact that I enjoy being active and that every cell within me is woken during a session, it's hard to top the zone/realm that the mind enters. I have experienced so many benefits, however once you have done the course you will understand what I mean. I like to teach others this course because EVERYBODY loves it!! The training is unique and fun, the benefits are outstanding and B.E.T lays a great foundation for other things.

DEVON BASKERVILLE

Devon is a happy person who values living a 'quality' life and therefore her hobbies and working life all happily revolve around health, vitality and fitness. Devon has always been passionate about finding the best ways to help others understand and better themselves, knowing first hand that this is best achieved after having invested sufficient time and energy into your own personal development. After more than a decade training others she remains highly energised and motivated in this profession, "I am never bored, in time I most often find that clients are actually interested in improving much more than just their physical self. It's very rewarding to be thanked and remembered as someone who helped another step forward in the right direction."

Devon and Nam both abide by the mantra that the basics are most important, "Without a strong foundation, the rest of your hard work can come crashing down around you". In laying this strong foundation Devon is a
CORE STRENGTH AND STABILITY TRAINER. All powerful movements originate from the center of the body out, and never from the limbs alone. Before any powerful, rapid muscle contractions can occur in the limbs, the spine must be solid and stable and the more stable the core, the most powerful the extremities can contract.

The Breath Enhancement Training program is also an integral component to laying a strong foundation. "We have taken the breathing basics to a masterful level of cellular activation, muscle strengthening and mental clarity to create a stress free environment for your body". Devon has always been extremely fit and proud of her accomplishments however it wasn't until the development of this course and the subsequent studies this led to that she realised she had been operating well below her potential. "Now that I have strengthened my respiratory muscles, learnt how to breathe effectively during activity and for recovery, I have seen how much better my performance is during and after training. I know that everyone can benefit from this course."
